Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Whitetail Master Academy LLC (“Whitetail Master Academy,” “WMA,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use whitetailmasteracademy.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us at info@whitetailmasteracademy.com.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address, username and password when you create a free account or join Premium Plus.
- Billing details: your billing name and address. Card payments are processed by our payment processor, Authorize.net. We do not store your full card number on our website.
- Profile and community content: a profile photo if you add one, comments on videos and articles, messages in live session chats, and articles you submit if you are a site writer.
- Property details: if you fill in My Property, the size, type and location of the land you hunt and what you’re working on. Other members see only a short summary (state, size, land type). Your county and any request for property help are seen only by the WMA team. We use these answers to plan content and, if you ask for help, to contact you about property planning services.
- Giveaway entries: the information you provide when you enter a giveaway.
- Messages to us: what you send through our contact form or by email.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device information: your IP address, browser and device type, pages and videos you view, and how you arrived at the site.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Cookies and tracking below.
2. How we use your information
- Create and manage your account and membership, and give you access to the videos you’re entitled to.
- Process payments, renewals, gift cards and refunds.
- Show your name and profile photo with comments and chat messages you post.
- Send account and billing emails (receipts, renewal and payment notices, password resets).
- Send our newsletter and offers if you’ve signed up (you can unsubscribe anytime).
- If you enter your email at checkout but don’t finish, send up to two reminder emails about your order. If your membership ends, send up to two emails inviting you back. Each one has an unsubscribe link.
- Run giveaways and contact winners.
- Understand how the site is used so we can improve it, and measure our advertising.
- Keep the site secure and prevent fraud, spam and abuse.
- Comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed for them to do that work:
- Authorize.net for payment processing and securely storing payment details for renewals.
- Mailchimp for sending emails and managing our mailing list.
- Google for website analytics (Google Analytics) and spam protection (reCAPTCHA).
- Meta (Facebook) for measuring and improving our ads through the Meta Pixel.
- OptinMonster for the email sign-up forms and pop-ups on our site.
- Vimeo and YouTube, which host and play many of our videos.
- Our website hosting, security and backup providers.
Partner discounts on our Member Discounts page are offered by each partner brand. When you use a discount code on a partner’s website, their own privacy policy applies. We do not give our members’ personal information to partners.
We may also share information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of WMA, our members or others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
4. Content you make public
Comments, your display name and your profile photo are visible to other visitors and members. Live chat messages during WMA Live shows are visible only to members watching the show. Please don’t post personal information you want to keep private. You can change your profile photo or remove it anytime under My Account › Account details.
5. Cookies and tracking
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We and our service providers use them to:
- Make the site work: keep you logged in, remember your cart and checkout, and protect the site from spam and attacks.
- Measure and improve: understand which pages and videos are popular (Google Analytics). Our website also keeps its own simple counts of video views, article reads and site searches, and remembers which of our buttons you clicked before joining, so we can see what’s useful. Visitors aren’t identified in these counts; for logged-in members, video views are linked to the account so we can see how members use the site.
- Advertising: measure how well our ads work and show relevant ads on other sites (Meta Pixel).
- Credit referrals: if you arrive through a member’s share link, we store a small cookie with that member’s referral code for up to 60 days so we can credit them if you create an account. Referring members see how many friends joined and their reward credit, not your name or details.
- Remember preferences: such as whether you’ve already seen our sign-up pop-up or dismissed the cookie notice.
Your choices: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site (like logging in) from working. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and manage Meta ads in your Facebook ad preferences.
6. Emails
If you sign up for our newsletter or create an account, we may send you whitetail tips, new video announcements, giveaways and membership offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. We’ll still send necessary account and billing emails while you have an account.
7. How long we keep information
We keep your account information while your account is open, and afterward as long as needed for billing records, legal requirements, resolving disputes and preventing fraud. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see below).
WMA Live: chat messages from a live show are permanently deleted 24 hours after the show ends. The WMA team may download a copy before then to review the show. Questions you send in ahead of a show are seen only by the WMA team and are kept so we can plan future shows and content.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, a website firewall and a PCI-compliant payment processor. No website is 100% secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep it private.
9. Your choices and rights
- Update your information anytime in My Account.
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.
- Request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal information by emailing info@whitetailmasteracademy.com. We’ll verify your request and respond within a reasonable time, and as required by the privacy laws of your state.
Some states give residents additional privacy rights. We honor those rights where they apply, and we won’t treat you differently for using them.
10. Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the site changes. We’ll post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date, and for significant changes we may also notify members by email.
